GDC Akhnoor organized a one day Guest Lecture on the Topic: “ Demonetisation: A Step Towards Cashless Economy” in which Dr. Virender Kundal, Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, University of Jammu was the resource person. Earlier, Associate Prof. Surinder Singh parihar inaugurated the function and addressed the students about the cashless economy and Demonetization. Dr. Virender Kundal discussed the importance and positive effects of Demonitisation. The lecture was concluded with interactive query session with the students and the staff. The welcome address was presented by Prof. Shamim Ahmed, Assistant Professor in Economics, GDC Akhnoor. The programme was organized by Department of Economics, GDC Akhnoor. The other faculty members present in the function were Prof. Tarsem Lal, Prof. Kuldeep Kumar, Prof. D.N Sharma.
