Akhnoor,On 22 Dec, 2017 Govt. Degree College Akhnoor celebrated Dogri Manta Din with great fervour and joy. Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma Principal was the Chief Guest on this occasion who enlightened the traditional lamp in the function. Welcome note was read by Dr Suresh Sharma, Head Dept. of Dogri. Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma highlighted the importance of Dogri language as a whole and he threw light on how Dogri language can help the students of the soil in UPSC examination. He motivated the Professors and students that such kinds of functions should be organized in the college frequently. The cultural activities were performed by the students on the occasion. The function was compared by Dr. Surita Sharma, Dept. of Dogri. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Iesha Sharma. All the staff members of the college were present on occasion.
