NCC cadets visit Old Age Home, donate daily need items  
 

Akhnoor, 26 November, 2011:  The NCC cadets of Government Degree College, Akhnoor visited an old age home and donated daily need items to inmates here on Friday.

The NCC senior wing cadets of college, under the guidance of NCC officer Lt Anjana Sharma and Principal Dr Kaushal Smotra visited Old Age Home at  Namander  in  Akhnoor.   They interacted with the aged inmates, and enquired about their daily routine chores.

The cadets showed their concern to old aged and affirmed they’ll always be ready to render their services whenever they need them. They donated utensils and other daily need items to the inmates out of generous donations made by students and staff of the college during NCC week. The cadets pledged “They’ll never leave old, needy people in a lurch, as humanity gives the message of love and care”.
