On Dec 2, 2017 As a part of awareness program against AIDS, RED RIBBON CLUB of GDC Akhnoor organized a one day Poster Making Competition in collaboration with J&K State AIDS Control Society, Deptt of H & ME. The theme of the Competition was “RIGHT TO HEALTH” and “MY HEALTH, MY RIGHT”. 15 students of this college participated in the competition. The chief guest of the function was Prof Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Principal, GDC Akhnoor. The Competition was adjudged by Dr. Chander Shekhar, Dr. Anshu Sawhney and Prof. Sanjay Samyal. Sakshi, Aman Sharma and Rewa Kumari stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Harshita Sharma got consolation prize. The chief guest Prof Kuldeep Raj Sharma applauded the effort of students with a promise from them to be the messengers to spread awareness against AIDS. The program was organized by RED RIBBON CLUB; Prof Rewa Lakhanotra(Convenor), Prof D.N. Sharma.
