Under the able guidance of Principal GDC Akhnoor Dr. Romilla Malla Bhat, the Electoral Literacy Club of the college with NSS and NCC units of the college organized a three day workshop on the celebration of National Voters’ Day 2024 under the banner of Viksit Bharat. A number of students participated in the poster making and slogan writing competitions on the theme, ‘Nothing like Voting, I Vote for Sure’ . The teaching and non-teaching staff of the college and the students participated in the pledge ceremony on this day. The Principal of the College delivered a lecture on the importance and value of the vote for the political participation of each and every citizen of the country. The aim of this workshop was to bring awareness among the new voters about their political rights. Dr. Monika Malhotra and Dr. Sandhya Rani were the judges of the event.
