Dear Students,
There is no greater privilege for an educator than to witness the process of evolution of young, bright minds into progressive, accomplished citizens of society. Here at GDC, Akhnoor, we aspire for just that. The institution has been instrumental in serving the society for many years now since it was established in 2005. It has opened doors to thousands of students over the years, across different streams from Arts, Commerce and Sciences and provided them with not only a spacious, picturesque campus near the mighty river Chenab but the opportunity to truly enjoy and understand the values of liberty, equality and fraternity that are enshrined in our Constitution.

Our dedicated staff has consistently encouraged the students to dream bigger and strive towards excellence. This is not only reflected in the excellent academic achievement record over the years but also in how the students learn and excel in all aspects of college life— sports, cultural events and other creative pursuits. The goal of the institution is to create a safe space where students can thrive and grow up to become rational thinkers and responsible citizens of society. In recent times, there has been an increasing emphasis on transforming the institution into an innovation hub that provides a space for creative solutions to the rapidly changing problems of our times. For instance, we take great pride in having an Eco friendly campus and doing our little bit in preserving the planet’s health.
